Chris Creatures Filmeffects was founded in 1989, when Chris Kunzmann was still a freelancing artist, that was driven by the idea of developing classical creature effects for the German television and film industry. In the mid 80ies he set out on this venture from a two room apartment in Berlin Tempelhof. From paintings, to murals, to whole interior decorations, to sculptures and theatre props and puppets he steadily worked his way up towards his goal, the movie business.

Nowadays we are a team of artist, who offer their expertise and years of experience in creating visuals for the industry to manifest the ideas of our customers. No matter what means are necessary, we offer and create the right solution in time and budget. Whether through in camera practical effects or visual effects solution during the post production, or the combination of both.
